A’s Sign Hiroyuki Nakajima from Japan

hiroyuki-nakajimaYes, the A’s lost several players to free agency, Brandon McCarthy and Johnny Gomes to name two, but they just signed Japanese shortstop, Hiroyuki Nakajima, according to an article from the Contra Costa Times, complete with videos. Nakajima can hit the long ball, and he can field, as you will see in the last video on the page.  The A’s signed him to a 2-year, $6.5 million contract, with an $5.5 million option for 2015.

So nice to have you back, Bee. And congratulations on your novel. It looks great and reads swiftly, good energy. But here, I appreciate reading the highlights of what the As are up to, and you do that so well.
